Ahmed Ragab Desouky is a Senior Partner with over 30 years of experience across a diverse range of industries, including financial services, oil and gas, real estate, and consulting. He has extensive experience in accounting, auditing, and risk management for local and multinational organizations across Egypt, the UAE, Canada, Sweden, and the United States, with a strong specialization in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Academic and Professional Experience: • Co-authored specialized publications on the transition from Canadian GAAP to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). • Served as a lecturer and trainer at a Big Four audit firm for over 10 years, delivering training programs covering CPA, ACCA, and IFRS Diploma qualifications. • Worked as a financial consultant supporting the implementation of IFRS at leading multinational organizations. • Delivered professional training courses through ACCA. • Contributed to the design of international training programs for leading audit firms. • Participated as a member of a project to update Egyptian Accounting Standards in alignment with the latest IFRS requirements. • Delivered specialized IFRS training programs across several countries, including Greece, the United Kingdom, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Canada, and the United States. • Serves on the Curriculum and Training Committees of the Egyptian Society for Accountants and Auditors (ESAA).
