By the end of this course, you will be able to

  • By the end of this course, you will be able to: Differentiate between different types of computer networks, different network architectures, and different network topologies. As well as giving a detailed description of the OSI model and the different protocols in the different OSI layers.

  • Differentiate between routers, switches, firewalls, and other network components and differentiate between different cloud services such as IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS. Also, differenciate between IPV4 and IPV6 protocols, and different network categories.

  • Define different standards for network cables, connectors, and wires such as coaxial, UTP, fiber, and media converters. Also, configure, verify and troubleshoot IPv4 addresses.

About this course

In the networks track, you will begin to learn about different types of computer networks, different network architectures, different network topologies, you will gain information about the OSI model and the different protocols in the different OSI layers, and you will be able to differentiate between different network categories. You will also learn how to configure, verify and troubleshoot, how to configure and verify device monitoring protocols, and learn how to perform device maintenance.
