By the end of this course, you will be able to

  • Understand the drama that lighting adds to a cinematic scene, and learn about the types of lenses, their different angles, the types of bulbs, and the circle of light.

  • Use the camera in a way that enhances the visual effect of lighting, and analyze the steps of the director of photography's work.

  • Evaluate the effects of the main light and backlight and measure color temperature. Lighting concepts and sun angles combine to create ideal lighting settings. Evaluate practical examples and identify the strengths and weaknesses of the lighting techniques used.
