By the end of this course, you will be able to

  • How to deal with challenges related to the differences between data analysis and business intelligence by defining them in detail, the steps needed to implement a successful business intelligence strategy in your company, and how to deal with reports from different data sources.

  • How to create a dashboard appropriately using Power BI, how to determine the questions that should be directed to the data to build a professional report with the storytelling style, and how to use the DAX language to calculate the required key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • How to connect to the data source Excel Workbook and review its content, how to link tables together to create connections between them to make the required equations and employ them in the report, and how to create Tool Tip and Drill Through pages to show additional data for basic graphs.

About this course

Business Intelligence helps businesses make better decisions through data. The course will help you learn how to use BI Tools which are suites of business analytics tools to analyze data and share insights. You will learn how to use your data to increase your business's profit and identify areas of improvement. Using the BI tools will allow you to access your business's dashboards and get answers quickly that will help you make accurate decisions almost instantly. The course will use Microsoft Power BI in which is the leading platform in the Business Intelligence field.

Course requirements and prerequisites

This course has many English terminologies, so an intermediate English proficiency is preferred.

MS Power PI literacy is required.

It is preferable to have some business experience before starting this course.
